MySQL Enterprise Backup High Availability Guide
MySQL High Availability features include a set of technologies that allow you to configure your system for greater uptime, more reliable delivery of data, and faster (and even automatic) failover. The high availability (HA) features in MySQL discussed here include asynchronous replication, group replication, and InnoDB Cluster. Each of these implements several technologies and all permit the use of MySQL Enterprise Backup (MEB) for backup and recovery.
However, the steps you perform to use MEB depends on which technologies and HA features you are using. This white paper describes how to use MEB with each of the three HA features.
Each section will present a simple backup and restore example along with tips for using MEB in provisioning.
